Well it now five months later and so much has happened. A life changing move to a beautiful part of West Wales. It all happened in April when we visited a house that had potential. We fell in love with Fords Lake. The property ticked all the boxes and more....

                             from the spotted markings on the flower which suggest a dice board.

I spent Tuesday fabric shopping with my daughter Lowri. Heaven! There were SO many colours So many designs......so I decided to choose floral, birds, animals patterns...a bit of everythings really.

Spring is definitely round the corner. The garden is sprouting all over the place and finally the daffodils are beginning to bloom. This afternoon we went for a bike ride. Felt liberating cycling through country lanes in the sunshine and saw a young deer as we passed a field enjoying the warmth of the sun.

Finally happy with my blogging title. It took a while but in the end it was obvious. Forget me not is one of my favourite flowers ( some may think of it as a weed - I like to think of it as a persistent flower that likes to pop up here and there and colour an empty patch in the garden) my love of vintage china encouraged a friend and I to set up a small business after our son and daughter got married and we had a surplus of collected vintage china that we have hired and loaned for others to enjoy the beauty of them. We are called Forget Me Not China (check out our website Forgetmenotchina.co.uk ) It is also a play on words!

 Well this is my first ever post on my first ever blog and it's all really exciting.
There is so much to say and do and learn so please keep with me on this very exciting journey.
